A colourful lunch by the sea

From the start, it promised to be a groovy event.
The reggae vibes of the band bounced in the wind, interspersed with the seagulls’ shrieks, circling in the sky, in the “levante” wind, as it is called here.
A fresh cocktail and an endless sea view welcome us. A very cool and laid-back atmosphere on a hot summer-like day. An invitation for long pleasant chats in the afternoon.
The sun warms the scene.
The aroma of the Argentinian parrilla is almost palpable. In front of us, Chef Chakall arranges the grills for the buffet on a typical fishing boat. The music flows, a lively reggae vibe that even get the Chef carried away, and dances, in between the food preparation and selfies with the guests, who are attracted by his good mood and the informality of the moment.
The meal starts! Focaccia with shrimp and garlic, octopus with mango crème, tandoori chicken, veal fillet, Portobello with chimichurri and vegetable skewer. Fresh ingredients, rich in colour and flavour, in a surprising combination that evokes the healthy roots of the Mediterranean diet. All paired with Quinta de Soalheiro wines, freshly served in magnum bottles by a charming team, wearing a look that transports us straight to an exotic scenario.
A perfect Sunday afternoon to recharge energy and get ready for the start of the week!
