There were no second intentions when the apple orchard was created in 1990, with the planting of 2500 trees, until Hans Reisetbauer met one of the greatest Austrian distillation connoisseurs in 1994, inspiring him to change the course of his business.

The first 120 bottles of liquor earned him a European accolade, and access to a prestigious Viennese restaurant. Currently, 120 thousand bottles are produced thanks to the orchard, with 24 thousand fruit trees, including bottles of the famed Eau de Vie – also known as Schnapps – produced in 20 varieties and flavours, as well as gin, whisky, and grappa. Five-time Austrian Distiller of the Year.

Its secret? The fruit, handpicked at the right moment to bring out the best of its flavour.
