“A simple, good and fuss-free kitchen. The main product at the centre, cooked in an original way, without embellishments”. This is how Martin Fauster describes his cooking style as a chef at the Hotel Königshof in Munich.

Born in the heart of Austria, he completed his training at the Landgasthof Gösser Bräu in Leoben, in his hometown of Styria, and has accumulated experiences by travelling around the world’s kitchens. In 2004, he took over the kitchen of Königshof, where his creations earned him 18 Gault&Millau points and 1 Michelin star.
