The Belgian chef has managed his restaurant, Hot Ter Eycken, located on an old stud farm, and the origin of his Michelin star, since 1986.
Driven by the same passion he cooks with, Philippe, his wife Marita, and their children, have made the restaurant their lifelong project. His success rests on the traditions of classical French cooking, perfumed by the aromas of the fresh vegetables and herbs they produce and maintain almost untouched on the plate, and on the love he puts into preparing every product they serve, from the bread to the mignardises that come with the coffee.
