Let us briefly go back: the 14-year-old Nenad Mlinarevic enters for the first time in a professional kitchen in the «Dolder Waldhaus» at the Zürichberg. Soon after, Nenad Mlinarevic knows that he does not want to do anything but be a cook. The energy, the pressure, but also the team spirit in the kitchen - this working environment does not let the young Swiss loose.
Since 2011, he is the head of the "focus" restaurant at the Park Hotel Vitznau and leads his small team, who is energetic and focused on the matter and does not lose the sense of humor or team spirit under pressure.
The Michelin Guide had immediately lent him two stars in 2013 - an extremely rare event in the history of the world's most important gastronomic guide - and he was considered "Chef of the year 2016" by the Swiss "Gault & Millau".
Nenad Mlinarevic has once again taken a big step: in the spring of 2015, he has enacted a new kitchen philosophy: «100 percent Swissness». Only the best products from Switzerland are cooked. In close exchange with producers, in the tireless search for culinary Discoveries, and in constant exchange with like-minded people, the gifted chef is about to strike something that might soon spread to the whole country - and beyond.
